Overview

Had an audio file containing dialogue and music that required footage to go play over it in order to promote a 3-day event.

Research

It was difficult pulling together any footage that I can find to create an emotional story-telling clip to make an audience feel called to sign up for this event. It took about 3 weeks to make and get approved by my superiors to show in front of over a thousand people.

Conclusion

By using Photoshop and After Effects, I was able to create inserts/overlays to further improve a viewer’s experience. This helped visualize the narrator’s dialogue. The video was also experimental in that it had to be projected onto a 5180x1080 wall. The challenge was to fill in gaps as well as know where to place certain things in order for the viewer to stay fully engaged.
